1. Data controller
Under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), your personal data is processed by Közel Kahve Gıda San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (address: Orhantepe Mah. Fırın Sk. No: 12, Kartal / İstanbul) as the data controller, within the scope described below.
2. Personal data processed
For online orders and subscriptions: full name, delivery address, phone, email, invoice details and payment records (card details are processed only by the payment institution); for job applications, CV data; for the newsletter, your email address; when using the website, IP address, device and cookie data; and security camera footage in the cafés.
3. Purposes of processing
To receive, prepare, ship and invoice orders and subscriptions; to answer customer service requests; to run recruitment; to keep our stores secure; and, with your explicit consent, to announce campaigns, new lots and workshops.
4. Legal grounds
Your data is processed under KVKK Art. 5/2 where it is directly related to concluding or performing a contract, necessary to meet a legal obligation, or based on legitimate interest; and on your explicit consent for marketing communications and cookies.
5. Transfers
Your data may be shared only to the extent necessary to provide the service with payment institutions, email/SMS infrastructure providers, accounting and legal advisers and competent public authorities. No data is transferred abroad unless the conditions of KVKK Art. 9 are met.
6. Retention
Order and invoice records are kept for the period required by tax law (10 years), job applications for 1 year and café camera footage for 30 days. Subscription data is deleted 2 years after the subscription ends. Marketing consent remains valid until withdrawn.
7. Your rights
Under KVKK Art. 11 you may learn whether your data is processed, request information, ask for correction or deletion, learn the third parties it is transferred to, object, and claim compensation for damage. Send your requests to kvkk@kozelkahve.com; they are answered within 30 days at the latest.
